P210 Grip Fitment Details

The SIG P210 has a distinctive grip frame that differs significantly from other service pistols:

  • Single grip screw per side: The P210 uses one grip screw per panel, positioned near the center of the grip frame.
  • Slim, narrow frame: The P210's grip is notably slimmer than most double-stack service pistols — one of the reasons it points so naturally. Wooden panels maintain this slim profile.
  • Rail-in-frame design: Unlike most pistols where the slide rides on the outside of the frame, the P210's slide rides inside the frame rails. This contributes to its legendary accuracy but has no effect on grip panel fitment.

Dark Walnut

Installation

  1. Unload and clear the pistol.
  2. Remove the single grip screw on each side with the appropriate screwdriver.
  3. Lift the factory grip panels off the frame.
  4. Set the new wooden panels in place, aligning the screw hole with the frame bushing.
  5. Hand-tighten the screw, then snug firmly. Do not overtighten.
  6. Check that the panels sit flush with no wobble or gap.
